What does a private college counselor do?

Private college counselors guide and support students and families throughout high school and the college admissions process.  At CollegeBound, we pride ourselves on our holistic approach to educational consulting.  We offer an array of services to ensure the best college fit.  Our expertise includes cultivating meaningful extracurricular activities and community involvements, interview preparation, college visits, crafting college lists, scholarship searches, course selection, and guidance through every step of the application process.

When is a good time to begin working with a college counselor?

Ideally, families begin discussions regarding college in 9th grade; however, CollegeBound works with students at every stage in high school.  We recommend families begin college preparation in earnest in 11th grade.
